    As the name suggest Madhya (meaning Middle) Pradesh is nested in the middle of India, it is also one of the founding states when India became republic, Madhya Pradesh is the largest state of India by size and the important cities are Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain.

    The largest state in India by size, Madhya Pradesh has a long history that dates back to centuries, the state boasts of India’s leading dynasties like the mauryas, satavahanas, moghals and the Marathas all having a strong base out of this place, Madhya Pradesh also has the world renowned Khajuraho temple known for its spell bounding ancient architecture, the Stupa of Sanchi owns a special place in the UNESCO world heritage sites, the state also has the largest reserve of Diamond and copper in India.
